🌟 Agrim Diwas – A Grand New Beginning at Woodland Overseas School 🌟

The first day of the school session, celebrated as “Agrim Diwas,” marked a fresh start filled with positivity, enthusiasm and renewed determination. The event was designed to set an inspiring tone for the academic year ahead, embracing students and staff into a nurturing and dynamic learning environment. The celebration commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, signifying the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge and wisdom. The school’s Chairperson Ms Tarlochan Kaur , Managing Trustee Mr Mandeep Singh Gill  and Dean Dr Simerjeet Kaur collectively illuminated the lamp, symbolizing their commitment to guiding students toward academic and personal excellence.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as students witnessed a graceful welcome dance, performed by talented Woodlanders. The mesmerizing choreography, infused with rich cultural expressions, was a tribute to learning, growth and the new opportunities that awaited them in the upcoming academic session.

Following the performances, the Managing Trustee Mr Mandeep Singh, addressed the gathering, delivering an insightful and motivational speech. He emphasized on the need to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and the role of discipline, determination and curiosity in achieving success. He also encouraged the Woodlanders to participate in academics, sports and extracurricular activities actively.

The students were deeply inspired by the words of wisdom and felt a renewed sense of purpose for the new session.

The Woodlanders walked out with smiles and high spirits, they carried with them the essence of Agrim Diwas—a promise to make the most of the year ahead, to learn with passion, to lead with integrity and to shine in every endeavor.
