A perfect combination of brain and brawn, Woodlander Surbhi has bought laurels to Hoshiarpur District as she has been SELECTED TO REPRESENT PUNJAB in UNDER- 19 WOMEN’S CRICKET TEAM. She is an all-rounder player and shall be playing in the capacity of Left Hand Orthodox Spin Bowler cum Batsman in the National U-19 Cricket matches scheduled in Jaipur from 28th September onwards.
While sharing the incredible achievement of their daughter, the Parents thanked the school for igniting the seed of burning desire and passion to pursue goals among Woodlanders.
Expressing elation over the achievement, esteemed Dean Dr. Simerjeet Kaur congratulated Surbhi and categorically mentioned that the school is assured that with determination and dedication, Surbhi would pave a way to the International Arena in the World of Cricket.
Eulogizing over the commendable achievement, sophisticated Trustee Mr. Mandeep Singh Gill emphasized that the phenomenal achievement has been witnessed only due to unruffled passion and persistent hard work because of which Surbhi could secure her position in such a prestigious tournament. As this is just a beginning of a wonderful journey ahead, she would amaze the selectors with her brilliant batting and bowling skills and would confirm her selection in National Cricket Team. She wished her good luck not in the battle of skills but in battle of wills with the commitment that the school shall render all cooperation and support to her in accomplishing her chosen goal.
