Grand Celebrations of Gurpurab 2023

Woodlanders celebrated Gurpurab joyously in the school assembly ground at our school, an event filled with spirituality, talent, and communal harmony. The day was marked by various activities that brought together the entire school family in a spirit of reverence and joy. The celebration was graced by the presence of our worthy Chairperson Ms Trilochan Kaur, adroit Managing Trustee Mr Mandeep Singh and virtuous Dean Dr Simerjeet Kaur.

The celebration commenced with the solemn Saropa Presentation Ceremony, a momentous occasion where our dignitaries, demonstrating commitment, kindness, and excellence were honoured. This gesture not only recognized their contributions but also inspired others to emulate the values upheld by our school community. The spiritual ambience resonated with Prabhat pheri, Shabad Gyan, where students showcased their knowledge of hymns and sacred verses, fostering a deeper connection with the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The winners of the Dastaar Bandi competition were also awarded during the function.

A highlight of the event was the live display of talent, where our Woodlander showcased his artistic prowess by creating a painting live during the function. The Ardas brought the entire school community together in a moment of reflection and gratitude reminding the values of humility, unity, and service that Guru Nanak Dev Ji preached followed by the distribution was Prasad.
