Woodland Overseas School Hosts a Cinematic Extravaganza of Learning and Laughter

In a delightful amalgamation of learning, laughter, and leisure, Woodland Overseas School orchestrated a magnificent “Movie Day Fun Picnic” for students of Grades 2, 4, and 5, epitomizing the school’s ethos of fostering joy through experiential education.

Under the spirited theme “Lights, Camera, Action — A Day Full of Fun and Friendship!”, the event unfolded as a spectacular day replete with cinematic charm, culinary indulgence, and camaraderie. The young Woodlanders embarked on a memorable excursion that seamlessly blended entertainment with enrichment.

The students were enthralled by the age-appropriate 3D animated movie “Mahavtar Narsimha” screened at PVR–INOX, which not only entertained but also instilled moral and cultural values. Post the screening, the joyous entourage proceeded to Rangla Punjab, where a sumptuous lunch buffet and refreshing beverages awaited them, immersing everyone in the vibrant essence of Punjabi hospitality.

Adding rhythm and radiance to the celebration, a DJ and dance session kept the spirits soaring high, as laughter and music reverberated through the air.

The entire event served as a refreshing interlude from academic rigour, allowing students to rejuvenate and forge deeper bonds with peers and mentors alike.
