Adventure Camp
“A fit body, a calm mind and an environment full of love is what every individual yearns for”
To instill leadership skills confidence and self esteem Woodland Overseas School took an initiative to organize an adventure camp in the school premises for the Kindergarten students on Monday, 14th October 2019 and Tuesday, 15th October 2019. The lively Woodlanders arrived bubbling with excitement as they headed to participate in adventure activities for the first time. The young campers were all set to test their physical abilities and enhance gross motor skills with the various fun filled and electrifying adventure activities like laser beam, hamster wheel, Hop Scotch, Hippity Hop Race, Tug of War, Zip Line, Burma Bridge, Commando Net, Magical Maze and Commando Crawl with Gorilla etc.
They were supercharged to cross the Burma Bridge and were full of zeal and enthusiasm to climb up the Commando Net. Every activity aimed at honing a different skill, kept them excited and engaged, helped the children learn something challenging and filled their bag packs with happy memories to be carried home. Towards the end, our reverent Dean Dr. Simerjeet Kaur wished the students for the successful completion of the adventurous day and encouraged them to play sports by saying – “It is health that is real wealth and not the pieces of gold or silver.” With this earnest endeavour, we at Woodlands aim at creating a healthy community of young and enthusiastic minds and infuse positive attitude by helping them live the uncertain and accomplish the impossible.
“Life is an adventure
let’s make it worth living!!!”
