The Woodlands Overseas School is located on approx 15 acres in the Woodlands Estate on Dasuya Road at Hoshiarpur in the state of Punjab and has sufficient classrooms and extensive facilities to support an enrollment of up to 3,000 students.
With open airy walkways, flowing fountains and tropical courtyards located throughout the campus, WOS provides a safe and pleasant learning environment in one of the finest international school facilities in the world.
The Primary and Middle School (Pre K to Grade 5), with its purpose built early childhood classrooms, provides a safe and exciting educational beginning for young students. The fully ventilated classrooms are complemented by an extensive library/media center, computer lab, perceptual motor room, specially designed and fitted music, art classrooms, rooms for large group activities, a cafeteria and covered and outdoor playgrounds.
At the Intermediate and High School (Grades 6-12), students enjoy facilities with fully ventilated classrooms, modern science labs, a dance studio, computer and technology labs, vocal and instrumental classrooms with small group practice rooms as well as specialized art, home living, graphic arts. As in the other divisions, the High School shares a large, modern library/media center and Auditorium. The 25-meter pool, playing fields, high-ropes course and theaters are shared with the Middle School. The cafeteria offers a selection of local cuisine from the school’s local caterer.
The performing arts facilities at the Woodlands Overseas School have been designed to provide professional quality performing venues for showcasing student talent. These facilities include an 500-seat auditorium designed primarily as a musical theater with lighting and surround sound, a 75-seat theater/studio and and an open air Auditorium with seating capacity of 1000 seats. All of these performance venues are designed to the specifications of theater and acoustic consultants and have access to video projection and remote television camera systems.
An all-weather track and field forms the focal point of the WOS outdoor athletic complex.
