A Proud Podium Finish: Woodland Girls’ U-19 Badminton Team Bags Bronze
Woodland Overseas School, Hoshiarpur has added another achievement to its sporting legacy as its Girls’ Under-19 Badminton Team secured the Bronze Medal at the prestigious 18th CBSE Cluster Badminton Championship 2026–27.
The championship was held from 5th to 9th August 2026 at British Victoria School, Kapurthala, and witnessed participation from talented young badminton players representing J&K and 13 districts of Punjab.
Displaying remarkable skill, teamwork, determination and sporting spirit, the Woodland team delivered an impressive performance throughout the championship and proudly secured the Bronze Medal.
The winning team comprised Saanvi Kapoor of Grade 11, Jupiter and Saumya of Grade 10, Jupiter, whose consistent performance and dedication contributed significantly to this remarkable achievement.
