Investiture Ceremony 2023-2024

The Investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school entrusts onto the newly elected Body of Student Council. It is an occasion where the newly elected body steps into the leadership role and takes an oath to deliver their duties promptly, thus striving to impact the school community positively on the success path. It’s not just about providing titles, but about conferring responsibilities to the students, to take charge of the school and take it to the height they desire with their leadership and decision making skills, communication and teamwork.
Unleashing the potential in Woodlanders, Student Council Elections were held in the school through which the Student Body representing the school was chosen. All the elected members were sworn in the Investiture Ceremony held on Monday, 1st May, 2023. With the slogan Leading with Integrity, the members committed themselves to ethical leadership. The office bearers pledged to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by the rules and regulations of the school.
Virtuous Dean, Dr. Simarjeet Kaur congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. She also exhorted them to uphold the values of Woodland Overseas School as they embark upon this new journey. She urged them to lead with integrity, empathy, and diligence and embrace challenges as opportunities to learn and grow, and always strive to make a positive difference.
