Seminar Conducted by Punjab Police on Anti-Corruption Awareness by Vigilance Bureau of Punjab Police
(Deputy Superintendent of Police Shri Munish Kumar highlighted the importance of a culture of honesty for the nation’s prosperity)
Woodland Overseas School was honored to host a compelling session on integrity and anti-corruption led by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mr. Manish Kumar. This important discussion, organized as part of the Vigilance Bureau’s Awareness Week against Corruption, focused on instilling ethical values and accountability in our future leaders.
In his address, Mr. Kumar emphasized that corruption is a two-way path—those who offer bribes bear as much responsibility as those who accept them. He urged students, as potential future policymakers and citizens, to understand that integrity is at the core of personal and societal progress. Mr. Kumar’s words encouraged the youth to perform their duties with honesty and conviction, aiming to build a society free from the shadows of corruption.
The session was filled with real-life examples of individuals who upheld integrity in difficult circumstances, highlighting how one person’s honesty can create a ripple effect of positive change in society. Mr. Kumar also provided students with helpline numbers for reporting corruption, empowering them with tools to take a stand against unethical practices.
This impactful session left our Woodlanders inspired, equipping them with insights and a strong sense of responsibility to carry forward the values of honesty, transparency, and ethical leadership.
